Lawn Care Service
Contract
Lots of people don't like to think
about contracts with companies, because they have a tendency to
worry about not being able to get out of it, or being stuck
into a long term arrangement that they couldn't get out of even
if they tried. While some companies might be like this, for the
most part lawn care service contracts aren't like that at all.
Your basic lawn care
and tree service will have intentions in mind other than
that but before you sign a contract hits a very good idea to
make sure that you understand what you are reading and signing
thoroughly.
Typically lawn care service contract will discuss and state
what you have discussed with them regarding the work that you
need done. By having a lawn care service contract both you and
the company are protected from any disagreements that might
arise . It protects you in the way that you get the work done
that you are paying for, and it protects them in that they get
the money that was agreed to. Having a lawn care service
contract will also protect you from having the prices raised
and it will protect all of the trees and bushes that you wish
to have left alone.
Reading Through The Fine Print
For the most part the typical lawn care service contract is
pretty straightforward and
generally can
be read through and understood without the help of an attorney.
Make sure that you read through the contract in its entirety
before you sign it no matter how much trust you have in the
company. You need to make sure that your best interests are
protected and you're not signing away all of your rights. If
you don't feel like you understand the contract, or don't feel
like you're able to read through it and understand it correctly
then you probably should ask for help.
If this is you then you need to make sure that you take the
lawn care service contract to a family member or a friend with
knowledge and the staff area and ask them to help you with it.
If by chance you have an attorney available, then you can have
them go through it and explain it to you. The whole idea is
that you understand what you are signing and that both parties
get what they agreed to when they were discussing the work that
needed to be done and the price that was to be paid. The whole
purpose of a lawn care service contract is to protect both
sides not to lock you into something that you can't get out
of.
